Dr. Toby Kiers and Dr. Adriana Corrales visited colleagues at CIAT in Colombia during COP16 and were given a tour of CIAT’a impressive collection of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi species. It is expected that CIAT's collection of AMF will be vital to the upcoming projects of MiCRop in phase II.

CIAT stands for Centro Internacional de Agricultura Tropical (International Center for Tropical Agriculture) and is an international R&D organization dedicated to reducing poverty and hunger while protecting natural resources in developing countries. It is based in Palmira, Colombia.
