These pots do not only contain potatoes - they also carry millions of microorganisms that help the plants to grow, prosper and endure stress.

The greenhouse experiments in Ecuador started earlier this year, and we are very excited to find out more about the relationship of plants, their microbiome and how stress influences the composition of the microbes once a plant sends out a "cry for help".
